Elaine Musselman, Co-Producer
Elaine grew up on her grandparents’ farm in Kentucky, where she was encouraged to live a creative life by her family and progressive schooling. After welding sculptures with a jeweler’s torch in her studio in Louisville, she made her way to Brooklyn to study architecture at Pratt Institute. Inspired by the words of Wendell Berry and others, Elaine created Tangible Productions. Its focus is to foster art, film and architecture projects that promote awareness and solutions to the critical challenge of sustaining rural American livelihoods and environments, recognizing that urban and rural communities depend on each other. Elaine has served on the boards of the Kentucky College of Art and Design, Brown-Forman Corporation's environmental sustainability foundation, DendriFund, Akasha Project, and is an honorary board member of Kentucky’s Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. She lives in New York City with her son and returns to the woods whenever she can.
